The Multistrada V2 S updates its colour range with the new Thrilling Black & Street Grey livery, which flanks the classic Ducati Red. The livery highlights that typical Multistrada sports attitude with a colour scheme that pairs the elegance of Street Grey with the energy of Rosso GP 19. The Multistrada V2 S engine is the latest evolution of the 937 cm³ Ducati Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine with desmodromic distribution. The Testastretta 11°, 4-valve per cylinder, water-cooled Testastretta delivers a maximum power output of 113 hp at 9,000 rpm and maximum torque of 94 Nm at 6,750 rpm in Euro 5 configuration and is characterised by an excellent level of reliability and a great ability to combine performance and adrenalin with a smooth and always manageable delivery.
Whether journeying far or on the daily commute, riding pleasure is always guaranteed with the 937cc Ducati Testastretta 11° twin, robust and easy to handle in every situation. Euro 5 approved, the Testastretta delivers maximum power of 113 hp at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 10 kgm at 6750 rpm. Also available as a 35 kW version for A2 licence holders
The Testastretta 11° is a liquid-cooled, 4-valve twin-cylinder with desmodromic timing system delivering an output of 111 horsepower.
11° like the valve overlap value, which primarily influences the dimensions of the cylinder head, hence the name Testastretta (which translates into Narrow Head).
However, this is an essential parameter for smoothness of operation, which is the main feature of this engine.
The valve overlap, in fact, defines the crankshaft rotation interval in which the simultaneous opening of the intake and exhaust valves takes place. The valve overlap has been configured at 11° for this engine in order to keep the exchange of fresh heat to the exhaust and combustion gases to the combustion chamber as low as possible, with the aim of achieving great smoothness of operation together with low fuel consumption and emissions
